Fellows at the Center for Advanced Studies
The Fellows Program is at the heart of the work of the research group. The visiting scholars and writers have all engaged in research that is highly relevant to the aims of the research group, exploring either thematic or systematic aspects of pictorial Evidenz; they have all already made their mark in this field of research. Fellows are selected, on one hand, to meet the needs of the expansive historical and thematic framework of our research program, on the other hand, also—and specifically—to contribute to the theoretical and methodological aspirations of the comprehensive, interdisciplinary grounding and reconfiguration of the topic under investigation by our research group. It would be hard to overestimate the importance of the intellectual exchange between the Fellows and the members of the research group.
