Research Project
Das Projekt ist der Rezeption der Werke bzw. der Person Leonardo da Vincis gewidmet und die Recherchen sollen in ein Buch mit dem Titel Leonardo, entmythisiert münden.
In der kurzen Zeit meines Aufenthalts in Berlin werde ich mich auf zwei Themen konzentrieren: die Rezeption Leonardos in Großbritannien, vor allem in den Schriften John Shearmans, dessen PhD-Dissertation über Farbe (Developments in the Use of Colour in Tuscan Painting of the Early Sixteenth Century, 1957) am Courtauld Institute unpubliziert vorliegt; darüber hinaus ist eine Analyse der Evidenz (im Sinne des englischen Begriffes evidence) notwendig, um einige kontroverse Zuschreibungen der letzten Jahre zu bewerten und teilweise zu demontieren.
